When marking task as completed it would make sense to execute following operations:

-- get user comment for completion
-- [optional] commit changes to version control (CVS, Subclipse). Should allow to preview.
-- attach task context task context to issue and also use entered comment
-- resolve issue in issue tracking repository (bugzilla, jira)
-- mark local task as resolved

I can look at resolving the issue case at the same time as bug 144620.  Both should be working off task state change events.

Our current architecture is sort of opposite--these operations will trigger task state change events (ITaskActivityListener) not work from them.  So all this would come for free for JIRA once the stuff on bug 144962 were there (I just added that one).  Brock, are you interested in taking that bug on?

We did the context attachments part a while ago.  The rest of this workflow stuff would definitely be nice, but not currently high priority enough to be set for 1.0.
