This could be the same problem as bug 141409.
Appears to be a problem with TitleAreaDialog. Targetting for 3.2.1

What is the risk of making this fix? Could it be considered for 3.2 rather than 3.2.1? It is affecting at least Korean and Hebrew. I would not be surprised if there were others.
Release 3.2 is frozen except for stop-ship bugs, so there has been no investigation/risk assessment on this bug. Major bugs are being tagged for 3.2.1 so that they will be fixed prior to the 3.3 cycle. That said, I find the problem description extremely hard to follow. When we do investigate this bug it will be important to know on which languages and which platforms (Linux/GTK only?) the problem has been observed. Also, it would be helpful to describe a reproducible test case involving the base Eclipse platform. I agree that this is likely a problem at the platform level, but having a base SDK example already at hand will definitely speed the investigation when the time comes.
Steve - we don't know what the fix is for this one yet. Still investigating this and the other truncations as they could be related.
Susan, I will take this one for now, as there are a series of seemingly related bugs and i believe you don't have access to linux, correct?
I have access to Linux, but not to anything other than US English on Linux, so it is helpful that you take this one. If it does seem to be caused by anything odd in the implementation of TitleAreaDialog, I'll be happy to consult on this one, just can't reproduce from here. thanks...
Defer unless already fixed.
