Description Navid Mehregani CLA 2006-05-11 12:16:25 EDT
At some point we will need to implement IAC in the new execution framework. Currently all the new agents being implemented using the new execution framework are not able to make use of IAC because IAC doesn't exist in the new execution framework. This includes the JVMTI agent, which will eventually replace the JVMPI agent. As of right now, there is no way for this agent to make use of IAC.

JVMTI need caused us to put resources on this in 4.3 after all. I'm proposing to ammend the 4.3 plan to include having a design and prototype for this feature in 4.3.
Comment 8 Karla Callaghan CLA 2006-09-12 15:39:29 EDT
Added URL to feature description document.

Design diagrams.

Design diagrams illustrating at a high level the basic design of the new tech AC, the IAC, and the new design proposed for new tech AC local case. To be used in conjunction with the design doc.

Reset target to 4.4 for completion of feature protoyped in 4.3.
Comment 13 Karla Callaghan CLA 2007-02-05 14:01:32 EST
Transferring bugs with 4.4 target to new owner, Igor. If their priority is not set to P1, then the bug is only a stretch item for that release.
Comment 14 Igor Alelekov CLA 2007-11-22 03:00:02 EST
Resolving as WONTFIX since since another IAC has been implemented
Comment 15 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2009-06-30 06:31:57 EDT
As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As such, TPTP is not delivering enhancements. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement is resolved as WONTFIX. For this enhancement to be considered, please re-open with an attached patch including the Description Document (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/development/description_documents.html), code (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/resources/TPTPDevGuide.htm), and test cases (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/TPTP_Testing_Strategy.html).

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
