Description Philip CLA 2006-04-28 16:38:38 EDT
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #137705 +++

I opened a JSP file for editing and receive the "Error Processing Dirty Regions" event. This has a nested TagLib error message "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/tagext/TagLibraryInfo".

My JSP file has a taglb tag importing the spring.tld file located in my projects WEB-INF folder. I have added the spring tld declaration to the XML Catalog:
	URI: platform:/resource/server/web/WEB-INF/spring.tld
	Key Type:	Public ID
Key: -//Sun Microsystems, Inc.//DTD JSP Tag Library 1.2//EN
(Also using an alternate location to the spring 127 dist spring.tld file).

I then use the source formatting command which throws three errors.
I have exported the error log (will attach if possible).

I am using Eclipse 3.2RC1a
I have WST SDK 1.0.1 installed. Trying to run the updates now... Having network problems.

You'll have to get a build of WTP that "goes with" RC1a, such as

http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/S-1.5RC1a-200604210753/

the "WST SDK 1.0.1 installed" indicates a 1.0.x level of code, which is for 3.1 Eclipse only.

This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen.
