Layout of date picker (task info editor) needs to be improved as can be seen in the attached screenshot. It appears as though the layout is not scaling properly.
Created attachment 38174 [details] Date picker
Created attachment 50661 [details] Screenshot of Date chooser popup with the Estonian locale The date chooser doesn't seem to play well with some locales, like Estonian. It has "wider" short names for days.
Created attachment 60475 [details] Screenshot of Date chooser popup without highlighting the day In the Date chooser, the current day is not highlighted, only the current time. Even if I click on a day entry, I do not see it. I have to look at the resulting date in the "Scheduled for" entry to see whether I picked the correct day. This is quite annoying. Eclipse SDK Version: 3.2.2 Build id: M20070212-1330 Mylar 2.0.0.v20070216

This is working with Debian 3.1 (sarge) and standard X11 setup (XFree86, GTK+ libs). This makes me think it may be related to bug 176716: Task colors are not displayed because it does work for the setup where the Task colors are not displayed.
Rob, could you test this with Kubuntu Edgy and/or Eclipse 3.3? Please update the wiki if this solves the issue: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylar_User_Guide#UI_Issues Thanks a lot, Jörg
I have tested with edgy and Eclipse 3.2 and 3.3, and both version of Eclipse work properly with the dat picker. I will update the wiki to relect this.
Mylar 2.0M2 uses the native date picker (Eclipse 3.3 only). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 178650 ***
