Description Dave Smith CLA 2006-03-18 00:10:49 EST
Feature 106050 added a new extension point for contributing GLA components to
the GLA editor. The documentation for extending GLA should be updated with information on this extension point and how to create it, including the code required. Here is the suggested documentation required:

1) Add a new file under "Extending the Generic Log Adapter" called something like "Contributing the custom component to Adapter Configuration Editor". I can be added after "Creating the custom component". This new file will describe what the extension point is, how to fill it out, and the code required. A sample would be helpful.

2) Update the "Adding a custom component to an adapter" file by adding a section at the top for "adding a custom component to an adapter that has been contributed to the editor with an extension point". The remaining sections can be left as is in the case where the custom component has not been contributed to the editor with an extension point.

I am not sure we need this since we have the extension point documentation; we don't have samples for every extension point we provide

Moving to i3 for now

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this originator of this enhancement/defect has an inactive Bugzilla account and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
