I've seen this happen about 5 times in the past few months. I'm hacking away at some java code in eclipse and my keyboard appears to switch to the german keyboard layout (y and z are switched relative to my keyboard layout, curly braces are replaced with other chars, etc). This only seems to affect eclipse, all editors and text widgets. All my other apps are fine. If I restart eclipse, the problem goes away.

Unfortunately, I have no way to consistently reproduce this.
