It looks like the problems view can be brought to a state where it doesn't update the table. I experienced with changing the grouping (which didn't seem to have any effect) as well as with the Filters, e.g. chaning from selected resource to any resource didn't result in anything. In most cases changes were applied once I went to the view's preferences to change the marker limit.

Wasn't able to find reproducable steps.

Boris did you see anything in your log? I suspect this is another side effect of Bug 128644 as I was not handling the updating properly in an inbetween state and you needed to refresh the whole thing to get it sorted.
