see bug 37496

JDT provides a dialog for doing several "code cleanups".

It would be nice if there were an option to do them automatically before a Commit/Synchronize With Operation.

Something along the lines ... before every commit insure that code is formatted and imports are organized.

I'm not sure if this belongs to JDT or CVS land ... probably both.

Even though the CVS-part is captured by bg 78133, I'm not sure if the JDT-part is captured by it.

Should I open another PR for the JDT-part, i.e. programmatic "code-cleanup" instead of going through the dialog?
Comment 3 Michael Valenta CLA 2006-02-16 11:40:39 EST
No because JDT cannot do anything until the API is added to Team.
