Description Douglas Pollock CLA 2006-02-13 16:11:07 EST
I20060213-0800, GTK+ 2.8.8, KDE 3.4.3, X.org 6.8.2, Linux 2.6.14

When items appear in the progress view, they flicker heavily. Please feel free to stop by for a demo.

If this problem is specific to GTK+, then I would suggest looking for calls to "setRedraw". IIRC, calls to "setRedraw" on GTK+ will force a repaint. This is very different from the Windows behaviour where they can be used to avoid unnecessary repainting.

This is new in 3.2 (just verified against 3.1). It seems to be at its worst when synchronizing with the repository. It happens regardless of whether the view is fast view or a regular view.
