Description Gunnar Wagenknecht CLA 2006-02-07 01:57:38 EST
I had a problem with 1.5M4 WTP SDK and tried I200602022035 WTP SDK today. However, I200602022035 is not activated because the *.doc.isv plug-ins are missing. They are not included in the wtp-sdk-I200602022035.zip.

The problem with 1.5M4 was a similar releng issue. The qualifier was not synchronized. Some features referenced plug-in versions with "1.0.100.v<date>-<time>" but the actual plug-in version was "1.0.100.v<date>_<time>". Shouldn't M4 be rebuild?

That's weird. Most of the warning messages are wrong.

Example, for feature org.eclipse.jst.web_ui.feature the update manager reports: Plug-in: "org.eclipse.jst.common.annotations.ui" version: "1.0.0.v20060128-1640" referenced by this feature is not included at runtime. Runtime includes plug-in version "1.0.0.v20060128_1640" supplied by feature "org.eclipse.jst.web_ui.feature" version "1.0.0".

Here is the snippet from the feature.xml:
   <plugin
         id="org.eclipse.jst.common.annotations.ui"
         download-size="0"
         install-size="0"
         version="1.0.0.v20060128_1640"
         unpack="false"/>

Thus, the plug-in is referenced correctly. The plug-in also exists on disc as org.eclipse.jst.common.annotations.ui_1.0.0.v20060128_1640.jar. The bundle version is 1.0.0.v20060128_1640.

Why does the update manager thinks, the qualifier is "v20060128-1640" instead of "v20060128_1640"?

The build is Eclipse 3.2 M4. I cleaned my configuration area several times. It didn't solve the problems.

Moving to update for comment.
