Description Richard Collette CLA 2006-01-09 12:56:43 EST
I am using the All In One installation and jdk 1.5.0_06. When creating a web service client, the client proxy type drop down field is blank and I cannot proceeed with client proxy creation.

Kathy,
would you please help Richard?

Richard,
what is your initial selection in the workspace, if any, when you launch the Web service client wizard?

This may be another variation of bug 119111. Rich, are there any server runtimes defined in Preferences > Server, Installed Runtimes?

If I select either the project or the src folder of the project, the drop down is not populated. It doesn't seem to matter what I select.

I do not have any installed server runtimes configured. Since I am attempting to create a non hosted/managed web service client, I shouldn't need jee jar files should I?

Since no server runtime had been installed, this is the same scenario as bug 119111.

As we are trying to close down WTP 1.5, please get the latest WTP 1.5 driver to verify the bug and reopen if the problem had not been fixed. If this defect is not verified/reopened by end of day 06/16, I'll attempt to verify the defect by reproducing the problem as described in the defect. However, since you know your scenario best, it would be more appropriate if you verify the fix.

This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen.
