If you copy a JRE on the JRE pref page, then delete it, it will still show up on the execution environment pref page. To reproduce: 1. copy a JRE on the JRE pref page. 2. delete the new copy 3. go to the EE pref page and you will still see the copied JRE. In my case I copied a 1.5 JRE, and on the EE pref page I selected J2SE-1.5.
Created attachment 31670 [details] JRE pref page screen shot shows the JRE pref page after the java1.5 copy has been deleted
Interactions between the pages are not well supported. The EE page works on "saved JREs". If you press apply before leaving the installed JRE page, all should be well.
Created attachment 31671 [details] the EE pref page this shows the EE pref page with the copy still there
but if you don't the entry is there for good.
Fixed in EnvironmentsManager.
