Please take a look at: http://www.mozilla.org/quality/qfa.html and http://talkback-public.mozilla.org/reports/mozilla/ Their talkback facility allows for their program suite to actively feedback error reporting information (given user consent). This information is then collected and allows for another level of quality control to take place. This would require setting up of an online collection point and a website to allow developers to interogate the information. Developers could easily receive many unexpected Java Exception reports from their user base without the user having to do much more than press a button to authorise submission back to your online collection point. This would obviously require: * A small plugin to act as client * Provision of some hardware to collect and report on all the data * An online reporting / analysis tool to make sense of the data in a way developers can use improve the quality of the platform
