Description John Arthorne CLA 2005-11-01 09:53:59 EST
Build: I20051101-0010

1) Open the problems view and ensure there are plenty of markers in it.
2) Click the filters button to open the filter dialog.
3) Immediately click "Ok" on the filters dialog.

-> The problems view becomes empty, flashes "pending", and then fills up with
the same contents again. Since I didn't change any filters, no update should be
necessary.

The same thing happens when you open the problems view preferences dialog and
then immediately close it again. Ideally, even if preferences or filters do
change, it would recompute the markers without emptying the viewer, and then
only update the viewer if changes are actually needed.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
