Eclipse should resonsider to support subversion by default. This was requested
back in 2002 by Bug 22625 but closed as WONT-FIX without any precise reason.

Much has changed then. Subversion is getting used more and more, competitors
like netbeans has announced support at JavaOne 2005 and there is a technical
fundation called subclipse (subclipse.tigris.org) that could be used as a basis.
