Description Jagan Gowder CLA 2005-10-14 19:24:04 EDT
The property view is not showing up for the elements in the Shcmea editor.
The property view window itself is there, it only shows the schema information
(prefix, target name space), It is not changing to element specific
information when I am on an element. Also the autocompletion for the element
attributes is either slow or sometimes it is not there at all when I do the
ctl+space.

Hi Jagan,

Can you please provide the steps to reproduce the problem? ie.
Start the workbench, then launch the XML Schema Editor, etc.

Thanks.
Keith

I am seeing this as well in
http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/downloads/drops/S-1.0M8-200509230840 with
the XML Schema Editor using WTP. This should be a high severity. Test case:
open a XSD file with the XML Schema Editor, click around to different elements
and notice the properties editor does not change with the elements in the
editor.

Yes, I see it. We're working on updating to the SSE's selection framework. I
have a partial fix and I submitted a patch for bug 112884. The complete fix
will be provided there.

This is in the latest I-build.

This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen.
