Eclipse UML2 DRAFT 2.0 Plan states that 2.x branch is for Eclipse 3.2
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextools.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/uml2-home/docs/plans/uml2_project_plan_2_0.html

To prevent time-wasting on 3.1 platforms it would be nice to have this
information included in feature info to avoid buggy installations.

The runtime plug-ins have not yet been up-versioned, but when they are, the 
appropriate version criteria will be set. Versions should also be assigned for 
EMF plug-in dependencies.
