Description Gerd Castan CLA 2005-09-03 13:46:51 EDT
Start Eclipse, minimize the window to the dock.

Now when you click on the application icon of Eclipse in the dock, the minimized
document window should open as in other Mac OS X applications, but it doesn't.

Tested with 3.2M1, but this behaviour is old.

I cannot reproduce this.

Do you have any additional information why this happens?
OS?
Unsanities (unsane) WindowShade installed?
Anything on the Console?

Ooops I didn't notice that: I have two Eclipse icons (again?) in the dock after
starting Eclipse 3.2M. The described behaviour is valid for the Eclipse icon
that I used to start Eclipse (has no black triangle).

Yes, if you have two Eclipse icons in the Dock (because you added one for launching Eclipse),
this is the expected behavior: only clicking on the second expands a collapsed document.

The two icons problem is bug #53260
