Description Raul Fernandez CLA 2005-08-30 11:54:00 EDT
Let's say you have an ebj module project with a session bean and a web project
with a servlet.
One deployed as a jar and the other as a war.
The war references the jar.
If you modify the contents of the session bean and build, the jar is not
updated.
Then when you run the server again, the old jar is deployed and you don't see
your changes.

Note: this does not always happen...I haven't been able to reproduce it so
far, but I've read in newsgroups that is has happened to others. When it
happens, a Clean & Rebuild fixes the problem.

* The problem can also happen with just the web project.

I've also seen this, with the Flexible Project. Something in it's internal
state goes wrong. I've sometimes seen the .java file in .deployables where the
.class file should be.

The .deployables folder will be going away as will our builders and the publish
task will replace them, so you will just have to republish.

Use bug 97756 to track this progress.

This bug was moved to 'closed' state, since it is so old and since it is a dup, worksforme, invalid bug that its unlikely to still be useful or need further attention. Feel free to re-open, or open a new bug, if this semi-automatic processing was done in error.
