Description Peter Hall CLA 2005-08-27 23:16:25 EDT
I have assigned XML Editor as the default editor for *.mxml files (Macromedia
Flex). The two tabs, design and source, appear when I open an mxml file, so I
presume the correct editor is opening, but I get no syntax coloring and none of
the functionality of the editor. Design view nad Outline are always empty.

I opened the PDE Error log and it has some warnings:

StructuredTextEditor being used without StructuredDocument
Unexpected IDocument implementation: org.eclipse.jface.text.Document
Input Name: application.mxml

dup of bug 106620
Comment 2 David Williams CLA 2005-09-24 17:36:16 EDT
UI should be improved in R1, but basic fix from users end is to
also tell us that you consider mxml as XML Content Type (in preferences).

This is part of a mass update to close out all stale WTP bugs which are in the resolved state without an appropriate targeted version. If you feel this bug was closed inappropriately, please reopen.
