Go to "CVS Repositories" view
Right click on a branch (MYPROJECT BRANCH) and select "Check Out As..."
Select "Check out as a project in the workspace", and set the project name from
the default (MYPROJECT) to another name, say MYPROJECT_BRANCH
Click "Next"

The default location in the next wizard screen has the "Location:" as
"...\workspace\MYPROJECT" (the old name) rather than
"...\workspace\MYPROJECT_BRANCH" (the new name)

If I uncheck and then check the "Use default workspace location" element, then
the "Location:" field fixes iteself (to be "...\workspace\MYPROJECT_BRANCH")
