In Eclipse 3.1 I've noticed really weird issue with Synchronize view. I've seen it happening on several different CVS repositories (including Eclipse CVS, mylar modules). So, Sync view show an incomming addition, but when I choose update action nothing happens. Here is what I see on CVS console: *** cvs update -l -d -P "/otis-db-scripts/dasl-db-deploy/3_1_0/grant_load_audit_dbr178.sql" ok (took 0:00.010) *** And here is detailed trace Valid-responses ok error M E Checked-in Valid-requests Template Set-sticky Clear-static-directory Module-expansion Set-static-directory Clear-sticky New-entry Merged Removed Updated Remove-entry Update-existing Copy-file Created Notified Mod-time valid-requests Valid-requests Root Valid-responses valid-requests Repository Directory Max-dotdot Static-directory Sticky Checkin-prog Update-prog Entry Kopt Checkin-time Modified Is-modified UseUnchanged Unchanged Notify Questionable Case Argument Argume ntx Global_option Gzip-stream wrapper-sendme-rcsOptions Set expand-modules ci co update diff log rlog add remove update-patches gzip-file-contents status rdiff tag rtag import admin export history release watch-on watch-off watch-add watch-remove watchers editors init annotate rannotate noop version ok Root /projects/otis/cvsroot gzip-file-contents 9 CMD> cvs update -l -d -P "/otis-db-scripts/dasl-db-deploy/3_1_0/grant_load_audit_dbr178.sql" Argument -l Argument -d Argument -P Directory dasl-db-deploy/3_1_0 /projects/otis/cvsroot/otis-db-scripts/dasl-db-deploy/3_1_0 Argument dasl-db-deploy/3_1_0/grant_load_audit_dbr178.sql Directory . /projects/otis/cvsroot/otis-db-scripts update ok RESULT> Status OK: org.eclipse.team.cvs.core code=0 ok null The problem disappear when I close synchronization and resync again. Could it be related to some connectivity issues to CVS server?
This could be the same as bug 101633. Was the file created before the sync and then deleted before the update?
