Description David Saff CLA 2005-06-24 06:59:26 EDT
Enhancement suggestion for 3.2.

The filtering box in Windows > Preferences is really cool. Now that I'm
addicted, I'd love to have the same functionality in Show View:

- Filter the list as I type
- Auto-expand categories to reveal matching items.

I'd like to see these filters sprinkled around elsewhere as well, such as our navigator-like views.
Comment 2 Nick Edgar CLA 2005-06-24 09:59:28 EDT
Some other environments allow this kind of type-ahead lookup but without costing
extra screen real-estate for the text field. They pop up the field when typing
starts. I'd like to see this support pushed down to viewer level too.

was fixed for M4 i guess

Yes it was, thanks. It was also exposed as API.
