Description Sian January CLA 2005-06-17 07:46:59 EDT
If I make a selection in Eclipse (e.g. in the Package Explorer view) and then
use Shift+F10 to bring up the context menu the menu pops up correctly but it
is located wherever the mouse pointer is. I would expect the context menu to
be located over the selected item, which is the behaviour in Microsoft
Windows and, I imagine, in other operating systems and programs. This is
reproducible in Eclipse 3.1 RC2.

I'm not sure that 20898 was a duplicate of this bug - they seem to be
describing two quite different problems. Maybe you meant to mark it as a
duplicate of 100033?

See bug 5892 for a discussion of this issue.
(Unfortunately, that bug was recently WONTFIXed.)

Right again Florian.
