Description Eddie Galvez CLA 2005-06-13 16:41:47 EDT
I have a fresh install of 3.1RC2.
I imported 6 projects from my filesystem into a new workspace.
Ctrl-Shift-T'ed, got the new Open Type, started looking at its new features.
Saw working set support, proceeded to create a new working set via the Select
Working Set dialog.

Created a "plug-ins" working set, checking every plugin corresponding to my 6
projects.

When this working set is selected, if I type:
"Help"

I get no matches.

Yet deselecting the working set, "Help" gives me (at least) "Help -
com.xx.yy.zz" where I can assure you, "com.xx.yy.zz" is selected in the
working set created above.

In case this matters, the working name I created contains a hyphen character.

I'm marking this Major because this basically means, to me, that I cant use
the working set filter in the Open Type dialog.

All working sets work except the Plug/in working set. The same happens in the
package explorer. If you select a plug-in working set in the package explorer it
gets empty as well

Eddie, please use Resource or Java working sets for the open type dialog

Moving to PDE. The actual problem is that PDE doesn't provide
IContainmentAdapter which is needed if a working set is provided which should be
used to filter other views.

Bug is related to bug 82237.
