Description

This seems to be a case of a wholesale tree viewer refresh. A more selective call ti 'remove' on the tree viewer whould fix this. I see the same issue on 3.1 release, when I "Disable" a feature. Since the node is not removed from the tree, I don't know if it's the same bug. Same happens when you toggle one of the buttons in the toolbar (install locations, nested features, disabled features). Kinda inconvenient. :) On a side note: personally I'd find it handy if the 'Show Disabled Features' toggle button was on by default instead of off. This issue is still valid for 3.2.1 and indeed very annoying. Maybe this should be another bug entry, but why do I have to restart after uninstalling a disabled feature (this reminds me of driver installation on old Windows systems. You moved your mouse. Please reboot...) *** Bug 174821 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 222844 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 237783 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** No further development planned on legacy Update Manager. This component has been replaced in the platform by Equinox p2. |
