I create a new Eclipse Application configuration, Plug-ins > Choose plug-ins and
fragments to launch from the list. I check my plug-in, then click Add Required
Plug-ins. Then I click Validate Plug-in Set. The dialog says 'Plug-in
"org.eclipse.platform.ide" will fail to run because plug-in
"org.eclipse.platform" is missing.' Shouldn't be.

what does 'shouldn't be' mean? that the error should not be reported? or that 
the Add Required Plugins did not add org.eclipse.platform?
