Description DJ Houghton CLA 2005-06-08 11:42:38 EDT
build n0608

- I have the org.eclipse.platform project checked out into my workspace
- I have modified all the gifs so I know which is my target when running a
runtime workbench
- I modified all the new png files in this build
- Started a runtime workbench but the icons were still blue
- it turns out that the .ico file is used for both the icon in the top corner of
the window as well as the one displayed when you do an Alt-Tab

Is this intentional?

If yes, then where are the new .png files used?

This might be the reason for the really horrible rendering of the new icon on
Windows 2000 in today's build. The .png files look fine, but the icon that is
actually used looks like it was hacked with MS Paint. It seems to look ok on
Windows XP.

The icon file (.ico) is being used right now except for Mac. I'm marking this a
dup of 98894, we need to see where we get with this bug from there before
deciding which images exactly to ship.
