the splash screen does not open centered on the usable monitor client area but
rather it opens centered on the monitor which can make it be cut off.

I acknowledge that the situation is not optimal, however who would have such a setup.
Moreover we are also consistent with many other applications :-)

I will close this one as wontfix. Open another to capture your need to know the coordinate.
