Description Darin Wright CLA 2005-05-31 16:25:40 EDT
3.1RC1

Selected a project (org.eclipse.debug.core), and "Run As > JUnit Test". The
following exception appeared in the log, and an error dialog was opened:

Cannot find class 'junit.framework.TestCase' on project build path.

I would not expect this to log an error, but just inform the user of the
problem.

Agree, however not critical. Time permitted.
Comment 2 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2005-06-08 16:52:22 EDT
The problem is that the log is generated by the job framework. So the only
solution I see is that the action that starts the launch should check that the
JUnit is available and present a dialog if not. No job is started in this case.

David, may be we can look at for 3.2.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
