Description Philipp Schill CLA 2005-05-24 05:49:21 EDT
An input handler that is able to provide a dropdown with predefined values. The
currently provided input handler does only a check on the input value (and show
the predefined values above the input field). It would be faster and reduces
error rate.

Can you explain this request more? AFAIK, AspectJ's iajc/AjcTask never requests
input. Is this a bug against the Eclipse Ant support?

Comment 3 Philipp Schill CLA 2005-06-07 03:08:25 EDT
this is not a bug but a feature request for handling inputs via an input
handler.
we have a comma-separated list of possible and valid values which can be input
by the user. this list should be displayed as a dropdown field not as a normal
input field.
Comment 4 Wes Isberg CLA 2005-06-07 06:52:29 EDT
I still believe (per my earlier comment) that this is not a bug or enhancement
request for the AspectJ Ant tasks. I suspect you want to enhance the Eclipse
platform Ant support. Please verify and resubmit the request to another product.

reassigning to platform owner.
