TemplateEditorInput (in org.eclipse.pde.internal.ui.wizards.templates) extends
FileEditorInput but does not override saveState or getFactoryId() to allow the
extra state it carries to be persisted/restored.

I couldn't find any refs to this class, though, so it may be moot.

Without special handling, it will get restored as a FileEditorInput.

TemplateEditorInput is certainly dead and has been for quite some time.
It has now been removed.
