Description Allan Pratt CLA 2005-04-28 23:11:11 EDT
We should recognize that JVMTI is in our future (though not for 4.1) and
address some foundation UI and lower-level issues that will come up as that
agent and others appear on the scene.

The description document for this feature outlines a set of areas to address,
including a possible "tab per agent" strategy in which we stop trying to hide
the existence of agents in the launch UI and instead call them out specifically.

(The feature document also touches on other issues; it's a capture of a broader
document.)

Deferring from 4.1 as per the official 4.1 enhancement plan.

The feature will be completed at the end of iteration 2

Ali, please open a point feature for the work that to be done in iteration 1 and assign it to i1. Keep in mind that this function should be functionable and backward compatible, otherwise you must disable it and make it available when is fully functionable

Fix in cvs
Comment 8 amehrega CLA 2006-03-31 17:38:00 EST
I should note that the client code for JVMTI agent is targeted to 4.2i3 and tracked under defect: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=134341

As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open.
