I started this build and when I checked my problems view, it was empty. (0 columns) 

The scrollbar looked like there was a lot of hits but nothing visible. (although
I could scroll)

I turned off all filters to ensure that something should appear but nothing did.

Same thing on reset. Nothing in the log file.

workbench.xml

Here is my workbench.xml file. Note that all of the column widths are 0. 

When I open a new workbench window, the new problems view is ok. I will open a
new window and close my old one so I can continue working.

I don't know what happened but I am in this state again in my new cloned window.
All the column widhts are set to 0.

For me, the problems view has been appearing with incorrect sizes for quite some
time, and the error log has been appearing empty for quite some time.  The
problems view has only started appearing empty recently.

To reproduce in a self-hosted workspace, just copy
"<outerWorkspace>/.metatdata/.plugins/org.eclipse.ui.workbench/*" to the inner
workspace.

I'm fairly confident now that this bug is a duplicate of Bug 86329.
