A click on the overview ruler at a place where no annotation is currently fully
selects the file. I find this very distracting. Wouldn't it be better to scroll
the editor to the corresponding location?

As we saw on Martin's machine this was caused by QuickDiff going wild and
reporting tons of changes. Martin, please try to come up with a test case and
file another bug report.

This bug contains a good feature request: we could show the line number when
hovering over areas without annotations in the overview ruler and jump to that
line if clicked.
