Ctl+space is the shortcut for toggling between English input and Chinese input
on a Chinese system. The java & CDT editor has a new menu item, "Word
Completion" which is using the Alt+/ shortcut which we used in 2.0 for the
Chinese locale content assist. Can we put back Alt+/ for the content assist
shortcut and find a new shortcut for Word Completion?

Using Eclipse SDK M6 version, JDT: 20050401-1645. This also affects CDT.

Can you please provide a shortcut that's free and that doesn't collide with one
on your Chinese system?

Maybe Ctrl+Alt+/ is a better choice. I used it in Fedora 3 and found no conflict.

Verified by using Chinese(PRC) as regional setting and input local. In this
setup Alt+/ is bound to code assit and Alt+Ctrl+/ to work completion.
