Clients should be allowed to run tools like Release... and Fix Copyrights in 
the background like most jobs in eclipse.

Do you mean after selecting Finish in the wizard, you want it to run in the background instead of what it does now?

It should give you the option to run it in the background like the other tools in eclipse...like when you check out code from cvs, etc.

With the move to Git, this tool isn't in active use anymore for anything other than copyright updates.  I'm going to close this bug as we have no plans to address it.
