Description Joe Toomey CLA 2005-03-29 08:23:39 EST
1) Allow TPTP tools to extend the Verdict Reason enumeration
2) Add extension point to TPTP that allows to tool to specify that a specific
verdict reason should cause the associated verdict to be hidden in the execution
history editor. (For example, the extension point should allow the inconclusive
verdict to be hidden when the verdict reason is "Requires User Intervention",
because users will be confused by the display of "inconclusive.)
3) Perhpas extend the Verdict Reason enumeration to include additional reasons.
Minimally, "Requires User Intervention" (Check exact wording with Kent.)

Deferring from 4.1 as per the official 4.1 enhancement plan.

Comment 2 Kent D Siefkes CLA 2005-09-01 00:22:32 EDT
Changing Version from future to 4.2 for inclusion in 4.2 feature planning, and
upgrading priority from P3 to P2 (may need to be revised to P1).
Comment 3 Mark D Dunn CLA 2005-10-06 15:28:12 EDT
Targeted to 4.2. May need to retarget to future since we have no UI resource
in Test to accomplish this.
Comment 4 Mark D Dunn CLA 2005-10-07 13:44:34 EDT
Set target back to '---' after mistakenly setting it to 4.2 .
Comment 5 Mark D Dunn CLA 2005-12-14 11:24:35 EST
Reassign to Bianca for tptp 4.2. in accordance with discussion in Test project meeting 12/12/2005.
Comment 6 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2007-03-14 14:26:35 EDT
Updating target to future as requested by the PMC.

Enhancements are targeted to future if not in plan for the current release.
Comment 7 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2007-11-05 12:00:08 EST
Correcting priority since not a 4.5 candidate enhancement (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/development/bugzilla.html).
Comment 8 Paul Slauenwhite CLA 2009-06-30 06:26:47 EDT
As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As such, TPTP is not delivering enhancements. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement is resolved as WONTFIX. For this enhancement to be considered, please re-open with an attached patch including the Description Document (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/development/description_documents.html), code (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/resources/TPTPDevGuide.htm), and test cases (see http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/documents/process/TPTP_Testing_Strategy.html).
