When opening the preference dialog using PreferencesUtil, I would like to have
control over the expansion state of the displayed preference tree. Reason:
usually when opening the preference dialog on a reduced set of pages, I have
already filtered out anything not interesting to the user; since the remaining
set is relatively small, I would like to have the pages all expanded.

BTW: PreferencesUtil should probably not be instatiable - it should declare a
private constructor, otherwise the default ctor is publicly visible.

There are currently no plans to work on this feature

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
