On the menu bar from the main Workbench panel, click Window > Preferences > Ant
> Runtime

Select Classpath tab in the right panel. High-light Global Entries, then select
the Tasks tab. Re-select the Classpath tab, and the Global Entries text will be
gone.

See screenshot.

The text does not appear to be gone...it has been emphasized as white text for
some reason.

What is the build id of Eclipse you are testing on (please always include this
information)? What OS?

I could not reproduce this problem on I20050301-1230 on WinXP

You are correct. This works fine on Windows.
