1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Yes org.eclipse.hyades.logging.adapter.config plugin has been removed but the classes in that plugin still exist. However, those classes are deprecated. Yes we need a migration document to migrate pre 4.0 parsers so they can be used with the 4.0 runtime. 1. is not true anymore logParser extension point has been removed from org.eclipse.tptp.platform.log.views plugin and moved back to org.eclipse.hyades.logging.parsers Migration document updated in tptp4.0 As of TPTP 4.6.0, TPTP is in maintenance mode and focusing on improving quality by resolving relevant enhancements/defects and increasing test coverage through test creation, automation, Build Verification Tests (BVTs), and expanded run-time execution. As part of the TPTP Bugzilla housecleaning process (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Bugzilla_Housecleaning_Processes), this enhancement/defect is verified/closed by the Project Lead since this enhancement/defect has been resolved and unverified for more than 1 year and considered to be fixed. If this enhancement/defect is still unresolved and reproducible in the latest TPTP release (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/), please re-open. |
Need some clarification on the following: 1. Has this extension point been completely removed?(no backward compatibility) <extension point="org.eclipse.hyades.logging.parsers.logParser"> and is now replaced with: <extension point="org.eclipse.tptp.platform.log.views.logParser"> 2. Has this extension point been completely removed? (no backward compatibility) <extension point="org.eclipse.hyades.logging.adapter.config.staticParser"> and is now replaced with: <extension point="org.eclipse.hyades.logging.parsers.staticParser"> 3. Has the following plug-in been completely removed? org.eclipse.hyades.logging.adapter.config? If the answer is yes to all the above, then, we will need a migration document to outline how to move from TPTP 3.3 (or earlier) to TPTP 4.0.
