It could good to support the buildling and packaging of multiple platforms at once.
For example I want one zip including all the necessary plugins for windows and linux.

Code released in HEAD.
Grouping gets activated by setting the property groupConfigurations to true.
An extra entry where configuration is "group.group.group" is necessary in the customSteps.xml/
