Naviagator and Outline view are resized after "Close All" none

Description Brian So CLA 2005-02-28 16:50:51 EST
Platform: Solaris 9
build: Eclipse 3.1M5a (I20050219-1500)

Steps:
1. Start eclipse with a new workspace. The default Resource perspective should
be opened.
2. Close all the perspectives (right click - Close All).
3. Re-open the Resource perspective. You can see that the Navigator and the
Outline view are resized. You cannot see the word "Navigator" from the
Navigator view tab.
4. Similar, close all the perspectives (right click - Close All). Now open the
Java perspective. The package explorer view is resized.

Attached are the screen captures for Navigator view before and after the 'Close
All". No log is generated with the above steps.

Is this still a problem in 3.3?

I couldn't reproduce it on Win XP, but should try on Solaris.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
