Description

Probably you must overwrite a perspective for Reset to enable, and create a new perspective for Remove to enable. If so, these two buttons will never BOTH be enabled. Perspectives which are not user-defined (removable) should be rendered differently, maybe a lock or something. GEF palette needs to copy whatever UI decoration is used for this. As far as "Reset" wording, this wording is conflicting with the other "Reset" on the Window menu. These two cases should be changed to "Restore Defaults", and "Reload Layout/Perspective". bug 40562. Another reason why the new reset button will rarely enable is that perspective changes get lost when the perspective closes. bug 9974. |
