Description Pawel Piech CLA 2005-02-08 14:10:29 EST
The main problem is that PNG images with alpha data are painted by
CompositeImageDescriptor with a solid background.
Additionally, the CompositeImageDescriptor can use alpha channel data in PNG
images to blend overlays into the base image. This allows for less obnoxious
icon decorators.
