It seems the "Import Project into Workspace" wizard will do a deep lookup for
projects in the file system as soon as you type a path that exists. So when I
was trying to type the root directory (would be something like
"d:\dev\workspace2\"), once I typed "d:" it stopped taking my input and started
scanning the entire d: drive looking for projects, taking more than a couple of
minutes to finish. Typing the next '\' caused it to start looking up again!

On a side note, when it was finally done, the list of projects contained many
projects with the same name, so showing the actual location in addition to the
project name would be great.
