Description Dave Smith CLA 2005-01-25 11:47:29 EST
The fix for bugzilla 82997 changed the setting of the default value of the
Encoding attribute in the Context Instance configuration in the adapter file.
The current description of the Encoding attribute says:

If this value is not specified, the log file will be parsed as UTF-8 on all
platforms except on z/OS. On z/OS, the log file will be parsed using the EBCDIC
codepage IBM-1047.

Change this to the following:

If this value is not specified, the log file will be parsed using the default
encoding of the JVM as specifed in the file.encoding JVM system property.

This needs to be done for 3.3 as bugzilla 82997 was fixed in 3.3.
