Description
Tod Creasey
This is the correct behaviour, the focus should not change automatically. This is also consistent with the navigator behaviour. Some action part should get focus when a new perspective is opened. With the new perspectives story, the same view might even still be visible, so it should remain active. This is a general UI issue, JDT should not do any special handling. Reopening and moving to UI. The above should read "Some part should get focus...". This is an accessibility issue because keyboard users have to take an extra step to give a part focus. Not a section 508 requirement. Reclassifying as usability Still an issue in 20020803 There are currently no plans to work on this feature |
