Description Max CLA 2005-01-05 08:51:06 EST
Sometimes the Edit-Information on the cvs-server get lost, but on the local
workspace it still exists (TestCase):

1. File was marked with "edit". -> Server and Workspace shows edit information
2. Now compare this file with another Version. -> Server lost edit information,
but Workspace still mark it as "edited".

The edit information should by synchron with the server an should not deleted,
if file revisions are compared.

The problem is that the server tries to be smart about reseting the edit
state. Comparing a file performs an update to get the remote contents which
the server interprets as an unedit. There is currently no plan to address this
bug but patches will be accepted.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
